PITCO SHREDDERS FEND OFF MOOSE ATTACK AFTER AVALANCHE
Aspen—As if escaping an avalanche in Maroon Bowl wasn’t enough stress for a group of snowboarders, they were then attacked by an angry moose. According to reports from the Colorado Avalanche Information Center, the three shredders were caught in a massive slide and dragged several hundred feet. One of them suffered a broken rib after getting pinned against a tree by the force of the wall of snow. After his friends were able to free themselves they helped him down the mountain on his snowboard. When one of them went to get help, the other two were greeted by the moose and attacked three times before help finally arrived and got them all back to their vehicle.
