Glenwood Springs, CO (May 28, 2014) – Roaring Fork Business Resource Center is hosting discussion groups on local investing and access to capital for entrepreneurs, investors and borrowers. Locations and times: City of Glenwood Springs Council Chambers on Wednesday, June 11 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.; Town of Basalt Council Chambers on Friday, June 13 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.; Colorado Mountain College Aspen Campus, Room 218 on Tuesday, June 17 from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The Business Resource Center needs community input from local entrepreneurs, borrowers and investors to help create a framework and implementation strategy to develop local investing opportunities. These discussions are part of a Planning Initiative funded by the Laura Jane Musser Fund and the City of Glenwood Springs. Discussions will touch on engagement in the community and the region, employment of local workers, spending profits locally and increasing tax contributions help to pay for local services. The Roaring Fork Business Resource Center is a virtual business incubator and resource center serving entrepreneurs, businesses and governments from Aspen to Parachute.
