Students in the RE-1 School District will get a snow day today, while crews continue to work on clearing area roads. The RE-1 School District includes public schools in Glenwood, Carbondale and Basalt.
Also, the Ross Montessori School and St. Stephen Schools have declared today a snow day and classes at the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts have been cancelled.
There is school today in the RE-2 School District (Rifle, Silt, New Castle) and District 16 (Parachute).
