Red Flag Bill Passes in Colorado House

DENVER (AP) – A Colorado House committee has passed “red flag” legislation that would permit the temporary seizure of guns from people deemed by a court to pose a threat to themselves or others. The House Judiciary Committee voted after hours of testimony for and against the bill on Thursday.  After a nearly 10 hour hearing, the Democrat-controlled  committee approved the measure 7 to 4.
