Rifle—10 months ago, voters in Garfield County approved an 89.4 million dollar bond measure to replace the old, dilapidated E. Dene Moore Care Center and expand Grand River Hospital in Rifle. Tonight, the Rifle City Council will get it’s first look at the plans for the new nursing home that will replace the 51 year old structure. Officials from Grand River Hospital will do a presentation on infrastructure for the facility which, when complete, will be safer, more modern and will double the bed capacity to 100. Tonight’s Rifle City Council meeting begins at 7.
