Yesterday the Glenwood Springs Police Department started receiving reports from people in town receiving phone calls from an automated system “notifying” them that their “Chase Debit Account Card” had been locked due to misuse or their number. The message continues and requests that you press “1” to unlock your account and then it requests you enter your 16 digit account number.
This is a scam to capture your account number. Anyone receiving a similar call please hang up and disregard. If you have any questions about your account status contact your account holder through the numbers they have provided you.
