DENVER—The Colorado Avalanche are hoping for a two-game sweep over the visiting San Jose Sharks tonight at Ball Arena. The Avs are coming off a dominant 7 to 3 victory Tuesday night. Avs’ forward Mikko Rantanan has scored a goal in six consecutive games. If he finds the net tonight, it will tie him with current General Manager and former Avs’ great Joe Sakic.
