According to inside sources, Future Hall of Fame Quarterback Peyton Manning has narrowed his choices of where he wants to finish his career to two teams; the Tennessee Titans and the Denver Broncos. Manning is expected to make a decision today.

with five minutes to play and beat Mississippi Valley State 59-58
in the opening game of this year’s NCAA basketball tournament. Not
to be outdone, BYU came back from 25 points down to defeat Iona
78-72 in the nightcap of a doubleheader in Dayton, Ohio.

PITTSBURGH (AP) – Second-ranked Syracuse opens tournament play
Thursday against UNC Asheville and will be without the services of
the Big East Defensive Player of the Year. Seven-footer Fab Melo
has an undisclosed eligibility issue and has been ruled out for the
entire tournament.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – The Tennessee Titans owner says he’s
talking to Peyton Manning today in hopes of coaxing the NFL’s most
high-profile free agent back to the state where he was a college
star. Bud Adams tells a TV station that he thinks Manning really is
interested in the Titans’ offer, and he expects a quick decision
from the four-time MVP.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) – Defensive end Jeremy Mincey spent a
few hours on the free-agent market yesterday before deciding to
re-sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars. The 28-year-old lineman has
a new four-year contract after recording a career-high eight sacks
for the Jags last season.

SCHLADMING, Austria (AP) – Lindsey Vonn continues her
outstanding showing on the World Cup circuit by dominating the
final downhill race of the season for her 12th race win this year
and 17th podium finish. The American overall champion had already
captured the downhill title.
